Hardware Test Systems Development Engineer

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Location: Hybrid working, St Neots office (this role is also open to full time office-based working)

Hours: 40 hours a week (with 30-minute paid lunch break)

Core office hours: 10am - 3pm

We are looking for experienced test systems development engineers who can help deliver our production test system used both internally and externally at our Contract Electronic Manufacturers (CEMs). You will be inolved in the development, evolution, implementation and maintenance of our test system(s) from a hardware perspective. 

Our products incorporate a number of exciting technologies such as digital, analogue, high speed mixed signal, FPGA hardware and firmware, so this presents a unique and challenging opportunity requiring broad technical knowledge. 

You will:

  • Help perform research into new test system concepts/techniques
  • Define and implement new test solution designs as required
  • Perform analysis as required to ensure your designs are reliable and robust
  • Work as part of a team offering support to other specialists and CEMs
  • Write and review design and support documentation 

What you will need:

  • Test systems development experience and/or verification background 
  • You will have design experience within one of more of the following areas: mixed signal, RF analogue, digital, software and/or fireware deisgn 
  • An understanding of metrology and traceability to standards 
  • Experience of design simulation tools
  • Proficiency in the use of schematic capture tools
