Technical Compliance Engineer

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Location: Hybrid working – St Neots Office (This role is also open to full-time office base working)

Hours: 40 hours a week (with 30-minute paid lunch break)

Core office hours: 10am - 3pm

This role is essential in helping and supporting technical compliance activities in a diverse regulatory market. The successful candidate will generate success by remaining current on the latest regulatory updates and advising Senior Management and Project Teams accordingly.

You will:

  • Identify risks or technical non-conformity issues together with providing any necessary mentoring/training where required
  • Collaborate with the Hardware Engineering Manager and Compliance Manager to communicate compliance requirements and issues to the whole business
  • Help develop internal controls and policies
  • Check Product conformity with relevant QMS procedures before they are released
  • Working with the relevant Technical Project Lead(s) & Development Engineers, perform relevant compliance related testing activities

What do you need?

  • Experience within electronic product development/manufacturing
  • Thorough understanding of routes to compliance
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations such as LVD, EMC, RoHS, WEEE
  • Effective communicator
