Maintenance Assistant

Location: St Neots (PE19 8YP), Cambridge 

Hours: 24 hours per week, office based

About us:

Pico is on a remarkable journey, with 32 years of continuous growth and success under our belt. We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to team up with our Maintenance Manager to be responsible for all things ‘handy’. 

Your role:

From assembling furniture to replacing light fittings and more, you'll be at the heart of our maintenance magic. Plus, you'll coordinate repairs, get creative with in-house DIY projects, and collaborate with fellow Piconians to enhance our workspace.

What we're looking for:

Do you have a passion for fixing, building, and improving? Fantastic!  Experience in maintenance or a hands-on type of role is a big plus. We need you to know your way around a computer (for things like emails and spreadsheets), so good English and Maths skills are important too. If you're a member of IoSH, even better! We value great communicators and relationship builders, those who can work practically and use their initiative. 

Your schedule:

Work-life balance is key. This part-time role offers 24 hours a week, which can be spread across 3-5 days. And hey, with the nature of the role, there might be some after-hours work and occasional on-call emergencies, so if you're local to St Neots, that's a bonus!
