Location: St.Neots, Cambridgeshire (hybrid working optional)

Pico is searching for a full-time Finance Manager to assist in the day-to-day finance functions within Pico. This is can be anything from treasury management to the preparation of monthly management accounts. 

This is a great opportunity for the successful individual to learn how Pico ticks and assist Pico in its continued growth!

You will:

  • Manage accounts preparation for all UK companies plus summarising submitted accounts from our German and Lithuanian subsidiaries
  • Assist the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) with the annual budgets and ad hoc outlooks/forecasts
  • Assist the CFO in collating, measuring, and acting upon Key Performance Indicators throughout the business
  • Assist in liaising with External Auditors and tax advisors on the annual audit plus R&D and Patent Box tax credit claims
  • Help prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns, ONS requests, and year end P11D/PSA submissions (for the company holiday cottages and health cost benefits)
  • Potentially line manage two team members within the Finance Team.

What will you need?

  • ERP experience
  • Have a relevant accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA), either at a finalist or qualified level
  • A strong commercial acumen, preferably with experience in a manufacturing company
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a wider team
  • Strong IT skills using well-known financial packages
  • A “can do” attitude with the desire to go the extra mile, when required
  • Line management experience or desire to manage in the future
